Accessibility statement
Peak Pro Home Services is committed to accessibility, usability, and inclusion for all visitors. We want everyone, including people with disabilities, to be able to find what they need on this site and reach us with ease. Helping people stay safe and independent at home is our work, and the site should hold to the same standard.
Our commitment to accessibility and inclusion
Every homeowner, landlord, and professional we work with deserves clear communication, equal access, and a respectful experience, both online and in person. The site is built to work with screen readers and keyboard navigation, with clear visual contrast, and we keep reviewing it to find and remove barriers.
You can always connect with us by phone, by email, or through the contact page. If anything on the site gets in your way, tell us. We would rather hear it and fix it.
A typeface chosen for low-vision readers
Many of the people who read this site are older adults, or are looking on behalf of one. So the body text is set in Atkinson Hyperlegible, a typeface designed by the Braille Institute for low-vision readers. Its letters are drawn so that similar shapes, such as a capital I, a lowercase l and the numeral 1, are easy to tell apart.
In the interest of being straight with you: headings use Lexend Exa, a wide geometric face, so we keep headings short. Prices, measurements, hours and our licence number are set in Atkinson Hyperlegible Mono so the figures line up and stay readable. If any of it is hard on your eyes, browser zoom and your own text settings are supported.
Measures to support accessibility
Peak Pro Home Services takes the following measures to keep the website accessible:
- Accessibility is part of how pages are designed and built, not something added at the end.
- Pages are checked for usability with a keyboard and with assistive technologies.
- Text is set to meet contrast requirements, in a typeface chosen to be easy to read.
- Phone and email are always available as another way to reach us.
Conformance status
Our goal is to meet or exceed the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. These standards help make digital content usable and understandable for people of all abilities. We test periodically to keep the experience consistent.
Feedback
We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of this site. Please let us know if you run into any barrier, and tell us what you were trying to do so we can help or offer another way to get it done.
