Wheelchair ramps in Yakima, sold and installed by a local EZ Access dealer

We measure, sell, and install wheelchair ramps across Central Washington. Free in-home measurement.

Chapter 01

A free measurement and an honest recommendation

Peak Pro Home Services is a full-service dealer for EZ Access, one of the most trusted names in home accessibility. That partnership means we handle the whole process for you: we measure your home, help you choose the right ramp, order it, install it, and stand behind the work. You never have to guess at sizing from a catalog or assemble anything yourself.

Every ramp starts with a free in-home visit. We measure your entryway, check the rise and available space, and talk through how you or your loved one will use the ramp day to day. Then we recommend the right system for your home and your budget. If a smaller, simpler option will serve you better, that is what we will tell you.

Modular, portable and threshold ramps

Modular ramps are configurable aluminum systems for longer rises and daily use. They are built to a safe slope, with platforms and turns where your entry needs them, and sturdy enough for Central Washington weather year round.

Portable ramps are lightweight and foldable, for temporary needs, travel, or getting over a single step. They are quick to place and easy to move, a good fit when you need flexibility instead of a permanent installation.

Threshold ramps are small ramps that smooth the lip at doorways and raised thresholds so wheelchairs, walkers, and scooters roll through easily. Often the fastest, most affordable fix for a daily obstacle.

Chapter 03

Professional installation, done right

Our team installs every ramp we sell. We anchor it correctly, confirm the slope is safe, and walk you through it before we leave. When we are done, you have a ramp that is solid underfoot and ready to use, and a local team you can call if anything ever needs attention.

Aluminum is the usual choice here because it does not rot, does not need painting and goes together in sections, so a longer run with a landing can be built to fit the house instead of the other way around.

How long does the ramp have to be?

A good rule of thumb is that ramp length in feet roughly matches the rise in inches. That is the 1:12 slope: one inch of rise for every foot of run. It is why a short step needs a short ramp and a porch needs a long one, and why a tall entry sometimes calls for a landing and a turn.

The rule gets us to the right ballpark. The exact figure comes from the tape measure at your free in-home visit, where we also check the landing space at the top and bottom and how you will really use the ramp.

Wheelchair ramp questions, answered plainly

Home accessibility is about making it easier and safer to live in the home you love, whether that means getting through the front door, moving between floors, or feeling steady in the bathroom. If you are caring for a loved one, these decisions carry weight.

It depends on the type of ramp and the rise of your entry. A small threshold ramp costs far less than a full modular system with platforms and turns. That is exactly why we start with a free in-home measurement: you get a firm recommendation and a real price for your home, not a guess over the phone.

Yes. For homes in our local service area the in-home measurement is free: we check the rise and the landing space, talk through how you will use the ramp, and recommend the right EZ Access system, with no obligation. For locations far enough out that travel adds a cost, that travel is applied toward your ramp install if you move forward.

Most residential ramp installations are completed in a day once the ramp is on site. Larger modular systems with multiple platforms can take longer. We give you a timeline with your recommendation so you know what to expect.

Yes. Our ramps are built for wheelchairs, walkers, scooters, and anyone who has trouble with steps. The free measurement makes sure the slope and width are right for the equipment you use.

Coverage varies a lot by plan, and many plans treat ramps as a home modification rather than medical equipment. Some Medicare Advantage plans and Washington assistance programs can help. We are happy to talk through what we have seen work when you call.

An online ramp arrives in a box with no one to confirm it fits your entry, your slope, or the way you actually get in and out of your home. As a full-service local EZ Access dealer, we measure first, order the right system, install it properly, and stand behind the work. You also have a local team to call if anything ever needs an adjustment.
